Peter BorducciPeter Borducci is the President and owner of Solar Electric Systems, Inc., which he founded in 1975. He is also the owner and President of Superior Communications Inc., a telecommunications firm that he established in 1986.
Mr. Borducci holds Master Electrician Licenses in New York City, and Westchester and Putnam Counties, New York, as well as an Electrical Contractor License (E-1) in Connecticut. Among his many professional affiliations, Mr. Borducci is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. (NECA) and the Westchester County Electrical Licensing Board.
Mr. Borducci has been active in the electrical and telecommunications fields since completing his military service in 1973. It was his experience in the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion (CBs) that inspired his pursuit of the electrical and telecommunications trade and launched his entrepreneurial career in the industry.
Before establishing Solar Electrical Systems, Inc., Mr. Borducci spent six years as an electrician, where he gained hands-on experience of the trade leading residential and commercial projects.
Engineering

Dominick BuccieroDominick Bucciero joined Solar Electric in 1986. Mr. Bucciero is the Senior Vice President and oversees all of the company’s projects.
Mr. Bucciero is a Professional Engineer and is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Mr. Bucciero’s academic background has been rooted in the electrical field since high school, where he studied Electrical Wiring at Saunders Trade and Technical School in Yonkers, New York. He holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology from Westchester Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute.

Peter Borducci, Jr.Peter Borducci, Jr. is Vice President at Solar Electric where he manages projects in Westchester County, New York City, and Connecticut. Mr. Borducci joined Solar Electric in 1999, after working in the engineering department on a part-time basis from 1995 to 1998.
Before he began his full-time position at Solar, Mr. Borducci was a Construction Manager at the School Construction Authority in New York, NY. In this capacity, Mr. Borducci managed school rehabilitation and renovation projects, supervising construction teams of various trades and serving as liaison between school administration and construction crews.
Mr. Borducci holds an Electrical Contractor License (E-1) in Connecticut, and is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. (NECA). He currently serves as the Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Eastchester, and a member of the Joint Electrical Apprenticeship Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian Studies from Johns Hopkins University in 1998.
Administration

Laurie ThomassetLaurie Thomasset is the Corporate Secretary at Solar Electric and has managed the company’s administrative functions as Office Manager since 1986.
In addition to managing administrative personnel and establishing office policies and procedures, Ms. Thomasset executes bid and project contracts, supervises legal matters, and is responsible for Solar’s bonding and insurance requirements. Ms. Thomasset also oversees human resources and facilities matters.
Ms. Thomasset has more than 25 years of office management experience, including her role as Executive Secretary at McKinsey & Company, Inc. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs School in 1980 and completed coursework in business at New York University before joining Solar Electric in 1986.

Donna YetmanDonna Yetman joined Solar Electric in 1988. She currently serves as Accounting Manager for the company’s operations, overseeing the accounting department. In this capacity, she is responsible for supervising all financial aspects of the business, including billing, collections, payables, audits, vendor relations and payroll.
Ms. Yetman has practiced accounting for over 30 years, with experience ranging from collection bureaus to in-house accounting departments.
